A Birthday Poem
Once upon a time, more than thirty years ago,
We started making history that few cul de sacs know
Holidays were developed, shared and had planning meetings,
We found it’s just another reason to never stop competing
In seventy years, you’ve cooked lots of pigs, turkeys and hot dogs,
Helped raised the men, turkeys and hours of yardwork logged
Over the years it’s been fun to see your evolution of transportation,
Old timey cars, scooters, farkenugans, go carts, never an imitation
Today is a special day and we celebrate you!
